Eurasia Development Group and Ingvarr ZhongYin Present a Strategic Guide for Russian Investors in China

May 20, 2025
As part of the second annual Russia–China Forum, a new analytical publication was presented — “Guide for Russian Investors on Doing Business in China: A Journey of a Thousand Li.” The guide was prepared by two specialized teams with many years of experience in Russia–China business cooperation.

Part I, covering the legal aspects of doing business in China, was developed by experts from the law firm Ingvarr ZhongYin, which has been advising foreign investors in the Chinese market for more than 25 years.
'
Part II, which presents financial, economic and technological instruments for cooperation with China, was prepared by the Eurasia Development Group team.
Andrey Prokhorovich, Founder and Managing Partner of Eurasia Development Group, noted in his opening remarks:

“Trade between Russia and China continues to grow rapidly, infrastructure projects are developing, and logistics links are strengthening. However, investment and technological cooperation remains limited. The main barriers are a shortage of experts with a strong understanding of China’s specific business environment and a lack of structured information on regulatory and market realities. This guide is our response to that challenge. It offers concrete, practical tools — not theoretical opportunities, but mechanisms that are already available to Russian companies.”
